We are looking to hire a hair colour specialist to join our Brand and NPD team. Your industry knowledge and skill as a hair colourist will be invaluable in supporting the team with Campaigns, New Product Development and our VIP client list. Reporting to the Group NPD Manager and being highly collaborative with the other members of the team.

This is an office-based role, working as part of a small team of three from our Dalston office on 5 days per week. We will consider full-time and part time, minimum of three days per week.

As our NPD Hairdresser you will be responsible for the following:

Product Testing:

Submission testing for new product developments and reformulations
Product testing for claim substantiation
Product testing for ongoing quality assurance
Competitor testing and analysis

Brand Development:

Supporting CD with clients and kit management
Colour and styling for PR clients/VIPs
Colour and styling for content creation (photo/video and social shoots)
Support in creation of content for social media

You’ll also be responsible for:

Own PD model database – model information, NDAs and patch tests
Salon management
Salon stock management

About You:

Minimum 2 years experience on the floor
Has excellent hair colouring and styling skills including a high level of bleaching and colour correction knowledge on all hair types
Is friendly and approachable with high customer service standards and great communication and interpersonal skills
Is meticulous with deadlines, able to work autonomously and is a self motivator
Has a passion for the hair industry and products
Has NVQ/VRQ Hairdressing Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification as a minimum
Is a user of and has a high level of interest in Bleach London products
