Cognito Hair is an Eco-friendly, Sustainable Hair Salon located in Earlsfield (South West London), specialising in colour, precision cutting and the pioneering Nanokeratin system; working with all Afro, European and Asian hair types.

Our vision is to grow a team of highly skilled and knowledgeable Hair Care Experts, who has a passion for hair and a passion for people.

We are in search of an ambitious, caring and motivated hairstylist with at least 5 years’ salon floor experience; with the ability to work with all different hair types ranging in Afro, Asian and European hair in cutting, styling and colouring.

These individuals must be able to articulate themselves well in both spoken and written English. Having the ability to use their own initiative working individually as well as part of a team. They must demonstrate great leadership qualities; representing the brand whilst delivering excellent customer service. Implementing new ideas and maintaining good work etiquette.

Qualities and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years’ salon floor experience within the hair industry
• Highly Skilled in cutting and colouring (especially highlighting and balayage)

Qualifications required

• NVQ Level 2 qualified
• NVQ Level 3 (preferable not essential)

Salary:

£13,728 – £31,200 per year (Dependant on part-time or full-time position, experience and client base)
