Hairdressing Salon Manager & Stylist Full-time

The Role:

Due to our continued expansion, we are looking for an exceptional Hair Stylist and Salon Manager.

We are seeking an ambitious professional with a passion for hair and customer service excellence. The ideal candidate will be a team-oriented individual with experience as a senior stylist and an outstanding sales record, team management and customer service skills. Candidates must also possess a high level of knowledge and passion for the services we provide.

As an experienced Hairdressing Salon Manager & Stylist, you must be able to deliver all the services we offer (training can be provided on more complex services), as well as overseeing the salon employees and day-to-day salon management. Your role will be to ensure the team and the business are performing over and above the highest standards, whilst exceeding client expectations.

Experience and Skills:

• A positive attitude and desire to reach the highest standards in our industry, great customer service skills, communications and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for client care and share The House of Hair’s enthusiasm and dedication to the continued development of innovative hair services.
• NVQ Level 2 in Hairdressing.
• A minimum of 3 years experience in salon management in the hair industry with a proven track record of achieving targets.
• A minimum of 10 years experience within the hair industry.
• A minimum of 3 years experience as a Senior Stylist or above.
• The ability to report to the Company Director and follow through their instructions.
• A trustworthy, reliable and punctual track record.
• Be able to take responsibility and manage the salon professionally and on own initiative.
• Ability to administer, direct and co-ordinate activities.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor and drive a high performing team.
• Evaluate and improve employee performance.
• Ability to assist your team in reaching their KPI’s.
• Utilise advanced hair skills.
• Ability to upsell services and retail products.
• An enthusiastic approach, be friendly and highly presentable.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
